1 John 3:19–24—Confidence before God

3:19 Indeed, in this way we shall recognize that we belong to the truth and we shall reassurea our heartb in his presence, 20 that,c even if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart. 21 Beloved, if ourd heart does not condemn we exercise boldness before God, 22 and we receive from him whatever we ask, because we keep his commands and do what is pleasing in his sight. 23 This, then, is his command, that we believee in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and that we love one another, just as he gave us a command. 24 So, the one who keeps his commands indwells in him, and he in them. In this way, indeed, we know that he indwells in us, fromf the spirit that he has given us.
